Thanks to this photo floating around Facebook and Instagram, we now know that the Batch G Zamacs are the Camaro Special Edition, Toyota AE86 Corolla, and Chevy Silverado. We already knew about the Camaro and Corolla, but the Silverado is new to us. The truck may not be our cup of tea, but it is bound to be popular among collectors.
So while they ogle over the Chevy Zamacs, we hope to sneak in and snag a handful of the AE86. And once we do, we will be sure to give them the Lamley photo treatment and show them here.
So the Zamacs so far in 2014 are as follows:
- '14 COPO Camaro
- Chevrolet SS (Opala)
- '69 Dodge Charger Daytona
- Chevy Silverado
- 2013 Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels Special Edition
- Toyota AE86 Corolla
We also know a Zamac Scion FR-S is on its way, and there are plenty more to come. What models that you have seen in the lineup so far this year would you like to see as a Zamac in 2014? (Our choice - definitely the Toyota 2000GT.)
Looking at it another way, Hot Wheels Chevy obsession in 2014 continues. 4 of the 6 Zamacs are Chevys, as are 6 of the 10 Super Treasure Hunts (and we are hearing rumors that the 11th Super is also a Chevy). There are some nice Chevy castings, and many of them are being used this year, but wow, this is getting a little crazy.
