The latest batch of Hot Wheels 9-packs is just hitting, and included is a nice little surprise - the '70 Chevelle SS Wagon in Hurst livery:
I didn't think anything could surpass the Mooneyes livery on the Chevelle Wagon in 2013, but this just might. The question is whether this is based on anything real.
I have no idea, and I am surely not the one to ask. One of you out there might. We do know of a Hurst Bonneville Wagon, and any fan of the supercool Vista Cruiser has seen the Indy 500 Pace Car with the Hurst logo (still waiting, Matchbox):
Maybe it is just Hot Wheels having fun, maybe it based on a real car. Our guess? The Vista. Whatever it is, we love it.
Also, we don't know if this is a mainline model or a gift pack exclusive. Our guess is a mainline, especially considering it has a licensed livery. Time will tell.
